I am Andre Ley, a pianist and composer based in vibrant Shanghai. A self-professed 'musical storyteller,' I embrace a kaleidoscope of music genres, welcoming the richness that each brings. Improvisation is the heartbeat of my piano performances, infusing them with spontaneity and authenticity. My forte lies in crafting neoclassical compositions, effortlessly weaving elements of pop, jazz, blues, and folk into the tapestry of my music, granting me the freedom to think without bounds. On this musical journey, I've orchestrated a series of thematic piano recitals across China, each curated by my own hand. My creative spirit extends to the written word as well, with two self-published piano score books under my belt. As a piano educator, I thrive on the joy of sharing my musical knowledge, ideas, and experiences with diverse minds.
