soundwright.co I am an indie/rock, punk, pop/punk, emo, and hip-hop audio engineer and producer. My passion is making music and collaborating in the creative process whether it be by offering ideas, co-writing, or mixing. This passion developed in my youth while playing in bands and recording songs with my friends. While obtaining my degree in Audio Engineering from Madison Media Institute I had the opportunity to learn from engineers Dave Poler (Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Timbaland, Gucci Mane, David Guietta, Missy Elliot, Beck, Santana, and more), Sean McMahon (Slipknot, Marilyn Manson), and Doug Olson (Smashing Pumpkins, L7). The skills, techniques, life lessons, and creative secrets I learned from these pro's, I carry forward into my recording, mixing, and producing approaches. I eventually made my way to Portland, Oregon where I further advanced and honed my knowledge working for Audix Microphones.
