Starting out in 2001 as a rapper who loved creating but couldn't afford beats or studio time SO IAM took the long road to learning the ins and outs of making great sounding music so that he could not only produce himself, but also help other artists fulfill their music vision as well, many of whom are in the same boat. SO IAM has produced and engineered some of the most talented independent artists in the country and landed major placements with MTV and engineering the ShapeUpUS.org company theme song. As a student of sound with over 20 years of experience as a producer and engineer, hundreds of hours behind the boards, formal recording studio education, and past internships with Phase 4 & Krash Course Studios, SO IAM brings a high level of expertise and passion to the craft. Founding Christian music label SO IAM Music in 2020, SO IAM's goal is to help music creators fulfill their God given vision and maximize the potential impact of each and every song created.
