River Bandit

A passion for Southern and West Coast HipHop - gave this Midwest artist the inspiration to voice his reality. River Bandit’s first moments in this world proved he was born for something greater. Close to death at birth, umbilical cord around his neck accompanied by severe jaundice levels. His mother lost parental rights before River Bandit was even a year old. Had lived with his father a couple years before landing in a shelter in the Quad Cities. River Bandit, born, Stone River-David Anderson, was adopted by two women working at that same shelter, changing his name to “Stone Ridge.” Bandit vaguely remembers the harsh environment around his father on the weekends. Around age five, River Bandit’s memories of the last times he was allowed around his father until adulthood, were created. Through art and sports, River Bandit never realized how much music impacted him until his peers pointed this factor out. Now you all get to witness his journey and growth.
