Kiefer Gasparovic

I have over 13 years of experience in recording, producing, mixing and mastering for artists, podcasts, TV & film and large scale festival event audio. I specialize in hip hop, R&B, trap/grime, afro beat and electronic music but have experience in almost every genre out there. My path into the audio world began at The Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology, Canada's premiere audio engineering school. I graduated with honours at the top of my class and received the Best Mix award for my thesis project. After graduating I was hired at The Sound Forge in Calgary, Alberta where I worked as chief engineer under mentorship of Brad Hathaway who worked with countless artists in the 70's, 80's, and 90's including Bryan Adams, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Jan Arden, Nickelback, Elvis Costello, Muse, and many others. After a few years of mixing and editing my interests shifted to live audio and I was hired by PK Sound where I learned to use state-of-the-art software and hardware for events and festivals. I have since been flown around the world to work behind the board for artists such as Anderson Paak, Zhu, Masego, Alix Perez, Troyboi, The Glitch Mob, Little Simz, Flying Lotus and many more. After moving on from PK Sound I became a partner of Void Acoustics and now own and operate the only touring Void sound system in Canada. I am the sole Western Canadian distributor for Void and work to sell and install systems across the country. Since late 2021 I have been living in Mexico working on my own productions as well as recording, producing, mixing and mastering for other artists. Simultaneously, I am managing my install and rental company from abroad and continue to sell and advise on Void Acoustics sound systems from paradise.
