I work with a number of artists from labels such as Rise Records, Blue Swan Records, Equal Vision, and Tragic Hero. Typically more aggressive or progressive music but have lots of experience and enjoy working with folk, indie, country, pop, hip hop, jazz fusion, you name it. I strongly believe in capturing the "magic" of a performance and have a good ear for what makes a particular take stand out. I like to capture tones as close to the final product as possible. My favorite part of the recording process aside from tracking is editing. I have tons of experience editing audio and strongly believe it should only enhance an already great performance. I like to hear a very tight rhythm section that's a little superhuman, without destroying the human element of the original take.
