About JĀ3
JĀ3, previously known as Zodiac, is a multi-instrumentalist/producer based in North London. His voice has been compared to an edgy John Legend with a tone reminiscent of a UK esq D'Angelo. JĀ3 has some success including two appearances on BBC 1xtra as an BBC introducing artist, televised performances on London Live and a televised live audition on ITV The Voice UK 2018. He has performed with Vinnie Jones and Mitch Winehouse as a special guest performer along with being invited to perform at celebrity weddings and being booked to public events such as the MTV fashion awards. As well as being a well rounded live performer, he's a talented and versatile producer with a particular appreciation for the likes of J Dilla and 9th Wonder. JA3 is capable of working across multiple genres such as neo-soul, pop, house, garage, drum and bass hip-hop and trap to name a few. Working with other artists collaboratively is one of his strongest skills as he is able to draw out the best even situations with inexperienced artists. His ear is impeccable and always has a plethora of ideas with supported insights to bring to the table. Additionally, he can fluently play the piano, the Irish tin whistle, Known to be adept at beatboxing and tends to shine making use of polyrhythmic melodies supported with some heavily syncopated percussive signature elements. JĀ3 works quickly and can adapt to a brief with ease. As well as creating new bespoke work he also hopes to put to use his extensive back catalogue which lends itself well to sync opportunities. He's open to offers of management and is currently working independently.
