DJHZRD is the creator of BarnStep, a country and electronic crossover made for the outcasts, rebels, outlaws, and anyone who never fit cleanly inside the lines. His debut album, Basslines & Moonshine, introduced the sound in 2025, pairing country songwriting, hard-hitting production, and rowdy live energy. Now DJHZRD is taking BarnStep somewhere heavier and more personal with his second album, Barstool Confessions, arriving October 2, 2026. Led by the single “Out of Time,” Barstool Confessions trades the wide-open party for the conversations that happen after last call. The album centers on regret, bad decisions, restless ambition, fractured relationships, and the things people finally admit when there is nobody left to impress. DJHZRD keeps pushing BarnStep past the usual formulas, refusing to recycle the same sounds listeners hear every day. Each release takes another swing at what country and electronic music can become.
