About Dan Berkery

Dan Berkery is a Freelance Drummer/Percussionist based in New York City with a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies from Philadelphia's University of the Arts. Dan currently substitutes on multiple Broadway Drum/Percussion chairs including Hamilton, Moulin Rouge, Book of Mormon, Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, and Mean Girls, and is also a member of the piano trio, T-Shirt Tuxedo, with longtime collaborators Singer/Pianist Brandon James Gwinn and Bassist Jeff Koch. In the recent past, Dan originated the drum book for the Off-Broadway musical "Ride The Cyclone," has helped in the development of Matt Gould and Carson Kreitzer's Broadway-bound musical "Lempicka," starring Eden Espinosa and Amber Iman, and he has performed with various artists, including: Trixie Mattel, Rumer Willis, Rob McClure, and Jenny Leigh Miller.
