Bernice Ong is a Singaporean singer-songwriter who affects a distinctive sound that combines elements of folk-pop, soul and R&B. Drawing influences from era-defining songwriters of the 2010s such as Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, along with the soulful musicality of artists like Bruno Major and Tori Kelly, Bernice weaves together a world of heartfelt lyricism by combining campfire melodies with gospel-infused sensibilities. Since joining the local music scene, Bernice has also been involved in writing and arranging for other artists for local and regional projects. Her credits include artists such as Gentle Bones and Sorn. Alongside these projects, she wrote and produced her upcoming EP, Freedive, which was recorded and mixed at Snakeweed Studios.
