About Ana Topalovic

Since her debut at 10, Ana Topalovic has performed at renowned venues like Wiener Konzerthaus, Musikverein, Carnegie Hall, Salzburger Festspiele, and Tokyo Opera City. She has played in 29 countries across four continents. Her repertoire spans solo and chamber music to interdisciplinary contemporary works with live electronics. Her solo album Bachiana (2022) earned three Opus Klassik nominations. With 10 albums, over 30 premiere recordings, and compositions on labels like Hänssler, Neos, and Sony, she is deeply involved in contemporary music, collaborating with composers such as Larcher, Cerha, and Neuwirth. A visual synesthete, she explores musical interfaces between disciplines. Her compositions have been performed at Carnegie Hall, Gasteig, and Wiener Konzerthaus. She won the IBLA Foundation Special Prize and premiered Sedlar’s The Daughter of the Moon at Musikverein. She has performed with orchestras like Filharmonia Oradea and Orquesta Nacional de Música Argentina.
