I've mastered thousands of tracks for Disney and Warner artists, in addition to film/tv properties like Star Wars, Marvel, John Wick, Fast and the Furious, and This Is Us. I've recorded and mixed hundreds of tracks and even produced the music for an Oscar-winning Pixar film. In addition, I've toured the world a number of times and helped build some of the awesome software we all use, and am a voting member of the Recording Academy. Maybe most importantly, I've taught thousands of people remotely over the past 15 years about studio production and software (Ableton, Pro Tools, etc), including at some of the biggest music colleges in the US.

As a guitarist and bassist, I have had the privilege of touring with many bands and artists including Norah Jones, Daniel Johnston, Bedouine, Ben Kweller, Jonathan Wilson, The Redwalls and Alberta Cross as well as playing with members of The Grateful Dead and Phish. I've been playing music since I was four and there is nothing that I love more. Making music with people who are creative and strive to push themselves is something I will always crave. My favorite kind of music is made when talented musicians are using their intuition. This tends to happen in the first handful of takes. I like the spontaneity and the commitment to that moment. It's why I love working with tape (obviously this can happen in the digital world as well). In saying that, I'm always up for spending as much time necessary to get the right take. I am very experienced in digital comping and splicing tape. I've had the honor of working with a lot of different artists and am well-versed in many genres. I like learning new things and am always open to surprises that happen during recording. I enjoy helping artists with songwriting. If you're stuck on something, I'd love to add a fresh perspective for the song to take an interesting turn. I pride myself on bringing a friendly, open-minded and organized approach to my work. My main goal is to make it fun and to have the artist be psyched about their recording! I studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music and have been songwriting since I was 15 years old.
