I established a name as a mixer with bands such as St. Lucia and Haerts, and worked with artists as wide ranging as Björk, Morcheeba and Bonaparte. I recently moved my studio to a little mountain side in LA and while mostly mixing Indie bands/artists, I am working more and more in the film world.

I'm a London-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, sound designer and improviser. Classically trained violinist and pianist who writes music for a range of media, including games and films, and has collaborated as a session musician with bands like Super Furry Animals. My solo work juxtaposes a variety of genres, regularly blending ambient/electronic textures with the subtleties of minimalism, jazz, experimental, folk and more. I am a drummer, percussionist and composer that has collaborated on more than 100 recordings as a guest artist, including the GRAMMY award winner Yo-Yo Ma and Friends, Songs of Joy and Peace and the GRAMMY nominated Fun Home. Canadian-born, Brooklyn-based guitarist, producer, and beatmaker. My influences and styles are vast, ranging from jazz, hip-hop, blues, folk, rock, funk, soul and electronic music. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from McGill University. I’ve worked, toured, performed, written and recorded with numerous artists such as Lauryn Hill, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jon Batiste, The Weeknd, NAS, Billy Porter, Quiñ, The Roots, Andra Day, Antonio Sanchez, Tony Allen, Femi Kuti, and Bokanté. In 2015, I collaborated with Brooklyn native singer/flutist Melanie Charles on a project called “Rat Habitat”; a mix of electro/soul/indie rock. Our co-produced EP "Guns That Shoot Bubbles" was released in May of 2015, and has gotten many powerful reviews on internationally recognized online blogs such as Okayplayer, AfroPunk, Soulbounce and Ebony. Past production releases include Canadian songstress Sarah MK’s album “Worth It” which received the “Editors Pick” at the 2011 world renown “Montreal International Jazz Festival” My debut release as a leader, entitled “Dreams”, is a tapestry of colors and moods; a blend of electronic/indie/beat/jazz influences. The album showcases my skills as a producer and beatmaker, and while not a guitar heavy featured project, manages to fuse many of my musical influences into one cohesive sonic vision. The album features several New York City musicians, notably veteran drummer Obed Calvaire, vocalist Mike “Maz” Maher, woodwind genius Sly5Ave, violinist Lisanne Tremblay, drummer David Frasier and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Fischer.

My name is DC Medina from Hartford, Connecticut. I was born in the Bronx in the early 90s and once called the paradise of Puerto Rico home. I have been writing professionally for over ten years. In college, I minored in creative writing and showcased my prowess by working for the school's paper and the literary magazine as a section and genre editor respectively. I have freelanced as a news reporter, and wrote for EDMTunes.com between 2012 and 2013, covering events and reviewing music. My musical journey began in 2002 with a jestful death metal band I started with my best friend called "Chaos Informed." I learned the trumpet, timbales, drums, and a bit of the piano between 2002-2008. But in 2009, FL Studio turned my world around, sparking my music production career. Dutch house remixes in 2010 of classic Deadmau5 and Skrillex songs garnered me some attention and led me to my first full album, "The Russian Lady Diaries," in 2012. Since then, I have released 3 full albums, 5 EPs, and numerous singles.
