Hey there!
I'm George. Since I was 15 I was taking part in a lot of music projects and bands as a musician (acoustic/electric/bass guitar), singer/songwriter, composer and producer worldwide (Europe, U.S. etc) I have experience in different genres like rock, hip-hop, metal, classic, pop, rnb etc. That background helps me to integrate any skill that I have for future projects. I enjoy to consider each song that I’m working on as a story. One of my teachers said that if you made them cry - you’ve done your job, I’m trying to follow that with my own rule - do your best and let's see what happens.
I’ve studied music by myself, with amazing teachers and also at world's famous Universities online, such as The University of Edinburgh (Fundamentals of Music Theory), California Institute of the Arts (Approaching Music Theory: Melodic Forms and Simple Harmony), Berklee College of Music (Arranging for Songwriters). Also I'm an experienced guitar teacher online/offline for 7 years.

Q&A
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Most mixing projects lately are a combo of the two. I mix in the box and print outboard gear and effects. Then the mix is printed through my API 8200 summing mixer. I would love to do more all analog tape sessions, because it's a fun and different workflow but realistically the budgets and time constraints are limited.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Getting to work with all kinds of people and personalities in many different styles of music. I think that really keeps me fresh.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mixing and mastering is magic and everything can be fixed. Don't get me wrong a lot can be fixed, but there is no substitute for great source material. The job of mixing and mastering is to enhance the song.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What direction do you want the mix to go? On a 1-10 scale, 1 being pretty close to the rough mix but a little more polished/hi-fi or 10 pretty unrecognizable from the rough mix?
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listen! Be fearless and experiment. Turn that delay all the way up maybe it'll work, maybe it won't? You don't know unless you try. Also don't be afraid to kill your darlings.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: All kinds, thats my favorite part of the job
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Fresh ears and a new perspective
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For mixing, I try to learn as much about the song as I can. I have a detailed conversation with the artist and try and get an idea of the vision for the song before I start. A rough mix is always helpful I listen to that a couple of times and right down my ideas and notes. Once I feel like I'm at a got place with the mix I'll send it to the artist for notes and then revise based on any notes they have until they're happy with the mix.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Oh boy, lots of people. I really love people like Tchad Blake and Dave Fridmann who are making wild sounds you've never heard before. As well as folks who came up more in the "documentarian" engineering world. People like Sam Phillips, Tom Dowd, Steve Albini who are trying to capture the performance in the room.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing, Mastering, Editing.

Sweetest Taboo started 15 years ago when two high school buddies, Nick and I, got our hands on a copy of Ableton Live. We were working at a smoke shop, making tracks between customers and late-night shifts. I was a raver-turned-DJ, he had the music theory — together we built Sweetest Taboo.
We landed a residency at one of Houston’s most controversial and longest-running clubs, Kryptonite, and kept it going for eight solid years before life pulled us in different directions. Now, in 2025, I’ve brought it back. Since summer I’ve dropped the sequel to our original album Rare Form and made this project the centerpiece of my life.

Liverpool, United Kingdom
I have been an in-house engineer for 10 years, at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool and Cube Recording in Cornwall, UK.
I love listening AND working on music from many different genres.
A lot of mix engineers today use mix templates to speed up their mixing process - I choose against this - I always approach mixing artist's tracks differently, which has always got me better results!
All I ask for is a rough mix of your track and 'reference' tracks for mixing. Show me a song you wish your song to be mixed like!

Brooklyn, United States
Canadian-born, Brooklyn-based guitarist, producer, and beatmaker. My influences and styles are vast, ranging from jazz, hip-hop, blues, folk, rock, funk, soul and electronic music.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from McGill University. I’ve worked, toured, performed, written and recorded with numerous artists such as Lauryn Hill, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jon Batiste, The Weeknd, NAS, Billy Porter, Quiñ, The Roots, Andra Day, Antonio Sanchez, Tony Allen, Femi Kuti, and Bokanté.
In 2015, I collaborated with Brooklyn native singer/flutist Melanie Charles on a project called “Rat Habitat”; a mix of electro/soul/indie rock. Our co-produced EP "Guns That Shoot Bubbles" was released in May of 2015, and has gotten many powerful reviews on internationally recognized online blogs such as Okayplayer, AfroPunk, Soulbounce and Ebony. Past production releases include Canadian songstress Sarah MK’s album “Worth It” which received the “Editors Pick” at the 2011 world renown “Montreal International Jazz Festival”
My debut release as a leader, entitled “Dreams”, is a tapestry of colors and moods; a blend of electronic/indie/beat/jazz influences. The album showcases my skills as a producer and beatmaker, and while not a guitar heavy featured project, manages to fuse many of my musical influences into one cohesive sonic vision. The album features several New York City musicians, notably veteran drummer Obed Calvaire, vocalist Mike “Maz” Maher, woodwind genius Sly5Ave, violinist Lisanne Tremblay, drummer David Frasier and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Fischer.

New York is home to some of the industry’s most legendary names like; Lil Kim, Big Daddy Kane, the late great Ol Dirty Bastard, and Jay-Z. Presently, it looks like we will be adding a new name to that list with the arrival of Marc Papers! When a writer came across Marc Papers on Spotify, they were instantly surprised by the “LACK” of autotune. Papers’ rap style focuses on actual lyrics that are missing from the current microwave instant noodle cup style of rap. You are not getting random words thrown together over a beat-this kid talks his sh*t!
Marc Papers is taking the game one step further. He is a self-made boss who wears many hats. As the CEO of Top 5 Entertainment, senior engineer, and one of the flagship artists of the label, the big stepper continues the trend of showing why New York remains the Mecca of Hip-Hop. The way he blends old-school lyricism with this new NY drill sound is a match made in Heaven. His discography consists of bangers like “Stocks Up, the smash hit Laughing at my Haters has amassed over 1.7 billion total streams since its release, plus a large production catalog on Beatstars.
Marc Papers ghostwrites some of your favorite independent hits (we can’t reveal them legally of course), gives out astrology readings, writes jingles for hip brands like the “Hire App” in Miami, and “Llemorstyles” based in Brooklyn.

Do you need help and support with a song, album or musical project?
I offer services which can help any artist from the ground up. So if it's writing, composing, arrangement, extra instrumentation and production you need, or just help with giving your project a professional mix and creating a great master, get in touch. I work from my state of the art home studio and can work on an hourly or project basis. Flexible, efficient, friendly and fast, you will get a tailor made service.
I have been working full time as session musician, sound engineer and producer since the mid 90's. In 2000 I started Opus Studios and ran a successful commercial recording facility there for 16 years whilst extensively gigging and touring. As an engineer I have worked across every genre of music from classical, jazz, rock, metal, folk, pop, hip-hop, synthwave and house. Recently finished writing a ballet for BAD, as well as launching my own artist's career, and notching up over 150K plus streams in my 1st year.
I have a particular interest in synth pop, synthwave and retro pop myself and am regularly working with other artists in this genre. However I have also produced a lot of work in the rock/pop field, working with and for some big named artists over the years and getting to work in some amazing studios. I love to take my own experience and to use it to help you realise your own musical visions.
So let's chat and find out what I can do to help.
Warm regards

Dimitri Arnauts (°1973) is a composer who has dedicated himself to uplift and delight hearts, souls and minds through the reaffirmed beauty of melody, harmony, polyphony and counterpoint, and through the innumerable colors of instruments and human voices.
He has written numerous works of various sizes and settings, being mainly cantatas, psalms, oratorios, concertos, symphonies and symphonic poems, and other vocal or orchestral works.
As an autodidact, Dimitri feels free to follow the paths of his heart, both in the aesthetics of his music as in the emotion and message it aims to convey. He does his work to the best of his abilities, in recognition of received graces and gifts, having nothing in sight but the elevation of the spirit, the delight of the soul and the enchantment of the heart.
Loving to be at the humble service of Goodness, Truth and Beauty - and bearing this service and testimony with joy and gratefulness towards the Creator - he established from the very beginning the foundations of his musical art on the Western tradition of tonal harmony, euphony, complex polyphony, fugue and counterpoint.
This science of the art of music writing, he wanted to rediscover it for himself and learn it in an autonomous manner: without theoretical study or academic recipe-books that would have him ending up fixed, dried out and losing his path to peer pressure... instead, by following only the voice of his heart, the means and visions of intuition, the desire of his soul and the capabilities of his spirit.
?Musically, Dimitri Arnauts admits humbly and gladly to be a modest and indebted disciple of the great Johann Sebastian Bach, at whose service he had the privilege to be moved, formed and inspired - through a year-long vocal practice of his Cantatas, Passions, Oratorios as a chorister.
He has published four albums of original music online, comprising organ solo works, choral works, vocal improvisations, electronic six-part fantasies, piano and synthesizer musings, symphonic poems and two full-length concert movies, totaling about 12 hours of new music, as well as numerous creative art videos and music clips.
?His music has been premiered, performed or recorded internationally in various places: Belgium (BOZAR Brussels, Duisburg), Poland (Slovacki Theater Krakow, Tokarnia), United Kingdom (Chester, London), Germany (Hamburg), Lebanon (Beirut), Austria (Vienna), USA (New York, Princeton, etc...)
?During the COVID-19 Confinement period, he composed and produced a set of music videos with new original soundtracks, in collaboration with several established or upcoming artists from the USA, Lebanon, Austria, Belgium, Japan, Poland, Angola, Puerto-Rico, Kenya and Hungary. These video's were nominated for and awarded a High Commendation in the category 'Best Digital Project for a Musician' at the 2020 Classical Music Digital Awards in the United Kingdom.
In Autumn 2022, Dimitri's first full-size chamber opera will be created at the Laeiszhalle-Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Germany.
Dimitri is also founding member of the international composer collective Muse11, and an active member of the Flemish Composers' Archipelago COMAV...
