About Tomohiko Gondo
Musician/Music Producer/Arranger/Engineer Born in Shinjuku, Tokyo. He started playing the euphonium in a wind band in junior high school, and at the same time, he turned to home recording, which is called double cassette overdubbing, and created his own works. Despite being influenced by a variety of music, he majored in euphonium at the Nihon University College of Art. While attending school, he participated in the Tanglewood Music Camp and received a scholarship. After graduating, he entered Boston Graduate School, where he studied euphonium and electronic music. After completing his master's degree there, he began working in the world of avant-garde improvisation, creating works using electronic sounds. He returned to Japan in 1995 and joined Office Intenzio, led by Yukihiro Takahashi. He started out as a euphonium player and composer/arranger. He also formed his own band, anonymousmass, and released four albums on MIDI Records.
