ROAC As a symbol signifies Sky & Sun Spirit, it is an acronym for Rose Aries Café, which is also the acronym for Ron Selmour Art Galleries & Café. Almost a lifetime ago, Selmour relocated to the West Coast, between Vancouver and Los Angeles to further his artistic aspiration. Born in Ahiti (Haiti), grew up in Montreal during the 1980’s. “New York City was our playground, us hiphop heads”. Throughout the 1990's he was very involved in the local hiphop scene, under the moniker of Chill-of-R. Then the new millennium rolled in with new endeavours, Selmour ventured out into the film industry as an Actor. Years later after a substantial list of Film & TV Show under his belt, Selmour has returned to his roots, HipHop Funkmo, Rara & Gede Music, with ISTARISIS. " I've been a HipHop Head since 1979".
