About Peter Hutchings
Pete Hutchings (known to some as Hutch) is a young producer, mixer, writer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, programming, synths, drums). When Pete works with a band or artist, his passion is to aide them in finding a song or sound that defines their personality. With his background as a musician and engineer, he has a vast skill set that makes him a versatile producer. Pete's style ranges across the board from pop and electronica to harder edged rock. Currently, Pete is working on upcoming albums with Royal Blood and Gang of Youths, both due for release in early 2021. He has also been working with the likes of Broken Hands, Tamzene, Lauran Hibberd and Blackwaters. Starting his career assisting and engineering at Eden Studios and Abbey Road afforded Pete the opportunity to work on several projects with the legendary Paul Epworth. These included Adele's James Bond theme song "Skyfall", which won a Golden Globe, BRIT Award, Grammy and an Oscar and Florence & The Machine's #1 album "Ceremonials" (including hits "Spectrum" and "Shake It Out"). At this time, Pete also worked with Julian Emery on the top 3 self-titled debut album from Nothing But Thieves. Other previous writing and production credits include Goldfrapp, Ed Harcourt, Billie Marten and Airways. Pete is based in Konk Studios, London.
