I'm ONYX, I produce beats, mix/master/engineer vocals/projects, I write/rap, as well as have been experimenting with new sounds to incorporate with it. Some of which being boom-bap, trap, doomshop, phonk, alt punk, industrial, cloud trap, soul/funk, synthwave, lo-fi, dubstep, EDM, classical, vaporwave, cyberpunk, cinematic, east coast, west coast, and lots of other little inspirations pulled from others, all packaged into this cool shit I been doing. Trying to find my own sound, and fuse my favorite elements of every genre into something distinct and versatile. I've been making beats since around 12, having started with this shitty little phone app I'd hyperfixate on for hours. At some point I started editing those on Audacity, and eventually my uncle introduced me to Fl Studio around 14/15, which I've been in love with since. As for writing, I always tried to write as a kid, but once I found rap/hip-hop somewhere between 8 and 10, it was like a switch flipped and I couldn't help but try to rap.
