I'm an independent singer-songwriter living in Cape Town, South Africa. I never want my music to become about making money, I want to keep out of that. I aim to record the 20-odd great tracks I have written in isolation over the past 20 years. After that, I'll consider what's next, but for now, my focus is laser sharp on recording one after the other. I work full time in Software Development, and I love my day job, and have done so for the past 14 years. I think music for me is a serious hobby that brings me so much joy. I love every step of the process, from the first stirring of a feeling that leads to a melody or a baseline, letting it come out as it desires to do, with me facilitating the song into being. Writing the lyrics, collaborating in the production - it's something that I love. I'm a collaborator and am enthused to work with different producers and musicians as I take on this road that feels like my calling in life, and it says: "Get the songs out there."
