Hey, I'm Marcus - a Swedish-American composer and multi-instrumentalist based between Stockholm, London, and LA. I am stylistically versatile, creating anything from pop and r&b to experimental electronic music. I have worked with many critically acclaimed artists such as Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Swae Lee, Tory Lanez, Iggy Azalea, Icona Pop, & Kid Ink. I began my career in film music in LA, working as an intern for music supervisor and composer Brian Reitzell (The Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation, Marie Antoinette, The Bling Ring), and then a musical assistant to director Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Lords of Dogtown, 13), helping her plan and realise the sonic worlds of various projects. During my collaboration with Hardwicke, I worked with musical legends like songwriter Diane Warren and producer Nick Launay (Nick Cave, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arcade Fire, Gang of Four). After relocating to Sweden, I was awarded a composition fellowship and focused primarily on developing my craft as a songwriter, writing songs for artists like Kid Ink, SOPHIE, Camilla Cabello, Iggy Azalea, Icona Pop, Astrid S, Shy Martin, bulow, etc. Services I can provide include - Full production, starting a track from scratch - Additional production and mixing - Vocal comping and tuning - Guitar and piano - Top lining (writing a melody and lyric for a track you already have) I am very quick and can turn around a full production in a few days if need be.
