MAKE OUT LIFE

Born Berkay Kocak in 2004, this artist experienced significant challenges and faced adversity while growing up. Despite the hardships, he remained determined to inspire others and remind them that they are not alone. In 2014, he embarked on his musical journey, initially showcasing his talents as a guitarist on stage in Istanbul. Even at a young age, his exceptional English proficiency caught people's attention in Turkey. Unfortunately, Kocak endured bullying throughout his schooling years, from the first grade until the ninth grade, due to his distinctiveness from his peers. Kocak's parents restricted his social interactions, preventing him from experiencing a conventional childhood. Consequently, he found solace in writing lyrics on his phone, documenting his emotions until he had the opportunity to record them. As time passed, Kocak developed anxiety disorders, depression, and other related conditions. Regrettably, none of his teachers were attentive to his struggles or attempted to address them. In fact, in the third grade, he confided in his teachers about the abuse he faced at home, but they failed to intervene. Overall, Berkay Kocak's journey as an artist has been marked by numerous challenges and a lack of support during his formative years. However, his determination to make a difference through music remains unwavering.
