A singer/ songwriter, composer, producer and multi instrumentalist based in Alberta, Canada, Johanna Hannaford makes indie folk and explorative EDM and House music from her home studio. Often blending beats, and pushing syncopation, there's a lovely tension and resolve in her music that invites you to have a seat at the table. Born in YellowKnife, NWT, Canada, Johanna was inspired by her father and his Fender Stratocaster to sing and create music always. Starting herself on acoustic guitar at the age of 12 , Johanna played as many festivals and concerts as she could. Shortly there after; Johanna found a personal relationship with Christ, and began playing in a local church. The love of improvisational and spontaneous worship music ensued. Over time a love for Jesus and a lack of indie/house style christian music continues to inspire her to create. Today, Johanna Is most excited to grow in producing music that gives others language in which they have a seat at the table.
