25-year-old multi-instrumentalist and producer, James Jones first started performing in public at the age of eleven when he was invited to play solo violin to an audience of five thousand at Cardiff International Arena by the National Symphony Orchestra of London. A year later, he won Caerphilly’s Got Talent with his own rendition of My Way on the violin. When James was fourteen, he played solo on the main stage at the BBC Proms In The Park in Caerphilly. A year later, James won a competition to support Dave Swarbrick on his tour. Shortly after finishing his GCSE’s, James became increasingly influenced by French jazz legend, Stephane Grappelli and recorded and EP of jazz standards on the violin. He was featured on MTV and Propeller TV.
