Hi there, this = Hassie Dune from Amsterdam.
With funk music being the Roots of my heart (& other styles like Afro beat-Reggea-Bebop-Soul as inspiration), World music always had my special interest (being Antropologist). Especially the mix & mash-up of styles for creating original music became my thing.
Starting as a drummer (pfunk), playing bass in the 90-ies (funk&soul), in 2012 slowly the Kamele N'goni (West African harp) took my full attention. Playing this African instrument with my own funkie touch (and a whole lot effects) I started to develop my Hassie Dune signature style...authentic, Raw & groovy.
In 2016 I started the project Couple Positive (Uplifting Collective) with trompeteer (and also multi instrumentalist) Ania Brzezinska from Poland. And after years of creating & life performing, we finally come to the point of sharing our Vibe online : )
