Dreadful Day
About Dreadful Day
Dreadful Day came together in 2021 when three lifelong friends, Lawson Mayner, Ryan Thompson and Landen Murphy, grabbed an instrument and spent their music hour practicing in the church sanctuary. From the start we’ve been all about blending the sounds that shaped us—classic rock grit, bluesy depth, and just enough metal to keep things dangerous. In 2025, Dustin Cano joined the band which perfectly rounded off our sound. We learned early that the best music hits you right in the chest, and that’s the energy we try to bring every time we plug in. What we play feels both old‑school and new, something for anyone who loves real, unapologetic rock and roll. We were raised on the giants—Rush, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix—and you can hear those influences in every live show. Our sets mix hard‑driving originals with classic rock covers. It’s raw and its loud, but it's what we do.
