Dark Quiet Death is an old school death metal band hailing from the blighted nowhere lands of the American Mid-West. The band is an esoteric mix of throat punching American death metal and soul-rotting doom colored with outstanding lead guitar work. The band's debut release “Festering Blight” marks its emergence as a technical showcase. “Living in Decay,” the band’s sophomore release, is a heavy bludgeoning concept album about humanity’s willful descent into online radicalization and social isolation. This concept is best realized in standout tracks “Auto Necrotic Brain Rot” and title track “Living in Decay.” Dark Quiet Death is hard at work finishing its third release, another concept album, ”Necro Nuclear Fire Bomb,” about nuclear annihilation and its aftermath. It will release into a world of rot sometime in 2027.
