After many years in the shadows writing, playing and recording music in my room, it is finally time to start releasing my music out into the world. Located in Cape Town, South Africa, I am a financial advisor by day. Music is my hobby, a "safe space", a place I can retreat to and find balance in times of turmoil. It all started in 1997 when my late father bought a guitar home in an attempt to learn to read music as he was then taking singing lessons. He had a beautiful heroic tenor voice but sadly, life plays cruel tricks on us all and he never really had the chance to develop his talent further... I picked up the guitar and fell in love. With no real formal music training and many many hours of tinkering and learning from others, I taught myself how to play guitar and am still learning and still very much in love with guitar. I play and record what I feel and what I like to hear. This may not appeal to some but it makes me happy and speaks to me and I hope, that in some way, my music can speak to you.
