About Andy Gregory (Manandi)
I started making electronic music when I was back in high school after gaining a scholarship to use the music technology studios for free. My high school was one of the first to get that sort of equipment. I consequently fell in love with it and loved to experiment with sounds. I purchased myself a very crude set up which I had in my bedroom back home. This included a Yamaha CS1x synthesiser, SU10 pocket sampler and using CuBase on an Atari 1040STe. My biggest influence was probably the early 90s rave and dance scene which I still listen to after all these years. I also love the 80s sounds with the age of the synthesiser really coming into its own. I can't say I make music of any particular genre. I just make what I think sounds good. To be able to share it with you all is awesome. If anybody listening to my music gets the slightest bit of enjoyment out of it then that makes me smile and it makes it all the more worthwhile. Thanks for listening, Manandi
