Freedom Monk is a musician/songwriter, performer, and graphic designer. As an artist, he has worked with Billboard Songwriter of the Year Peter Moreland and Grammy Winning former Bad Boy producer the legendary Herb Middleton. Having written and recorded over 400 songs, it is obvious music is in his blood. His family roots include being the grandnephew of “greatest jazz musician ever” Thelonius Monk and cousin of Yasiin Bey also known as Mos Def, a king among hip hop artists. Freedom Monk is now paving his own road in music releasing hit after hit. “You Can Keep Me On Low” and “If Your Done I’m Done” are two tracks currently listed most popular songs on Tik Tok charts. His sexy songs Make Waves ft Kyle Owens and Can We Reverse are passionate and captivating solidifying Freedom Monk as a legend in his own right. Born in Brooklyn NY his father was a singer and songwriter that taught him and his four brothers how to perform and write songs at an early age.
