I'm a Korean-Canadian musician and engineer based in Brooklyn, NY. I have been playing and mixing (touring/venues/studio) full-time professionally for 10 years. While I gravitate towards the soulful side of music with personal projects, I love listening to and working in varying specific genres like celtic folk, ambient instrumentals, hip-hop, death metal, classical, and generally experimental music. I also love post production work like ADR, foley, and fx.

Hey, I'm Aaron Gilbert Steele. I've been recording and touring with some of the most creative & innovative artists for over a decade. Musically, genre is no boundary. I try to play & produce as much good music as possible while aiming for something unique each time. Some artists I've worked with are: Portugal. The Man, Hayley Williams, Leon Bridges, Jose James, Sam Dew, Fences plus many others.

Coming from a musical family, I found music & the guitar at a very young age. Fascinated by the guitar's ability to forge unique connections, I have pursued sound, the craft of music, adventure, and those rare musical connections for over thirty years. From childhood through high school I played music with my brothers. We played loud & fast, with angst and creativity! In college, I studied classical guitar for nearly a decade with the famous Romeros family of Spanish guitarists. During this time I earned Bachelor's & Master's degrees in music. In 2012 I performed for the Dalai Lama and 13,000 in attendance at San Diego State University's Viejas Arena. I perform a variety of styles and I have performed at the L.A. Music Awards, the Sundance Film Festival, and at festivals in the US & Europe. In addition to performing, I have composed and recorded music for TV & film and produced award winning tracks.

I am a multi-instrumentalist/producer that has worked with artist such as Mitski, Dua Lipa, Chet Faker, Maggie Rogers, Nina Persson (The Cardigans), and Poolside to name a few. I've performed in 30 countries on 4 continents. I've also Music Directed lots of different artist across many different genres. The shows have been performed everywhere from small clubs, to arenas internationally. As a producer, I've produced and played on 30+ commercial releases, podcasts, commercials, etc. I have also released my own music under my name (Grant Zubritsky), as well as under the moniker GZGZ. I make beats, record instruments for projects, write and arrange for jazz groups and indie rock groups on a daily basis. I have been releasing music of my own, and recording for others projects for the past 7 years here in Vancouver and use my experience and creativity to make projects stand out. I am a skilled player on bass, guitar and trumpet and I like to use live instruments in my beat making. I make lo-fi and high fidelity projects in my studio and will experiment with any genre.
