I am a 17 year career performer, altenating between the roles as saxophonist, keyboardist, composer, and educator. I specialize in live EDM, jazz, classical, hip hop, r n b, and funk. I've played in over 38 countries around the world for huge crowds, in 4 time grammy winner Esperanza Spalding's Radio Music Society 2012-2013. I received the Jerome Foundation Emerging Artist Grant 2014-2015, received a 3.5 star rating on Downbeat magazine for my 2018 album "Anomaly," and multiple other awards. I also received a Grammy Certificate for my feature on Esperanza Spalding's 2018 Album "12 Little Spells" which won the 2020 Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal. I specialize in electronic music, classic jazz, classical music, pop, composition and experimental music as well. I also have a live electronic dance band, Sistine Criminals that performs reverse engineered drum n bass, trap, hip hop, house music, and down tempo.

As CEO of Behind the Curtains Media, I've been performing and recording since 1998. Studio strong-suits include producing, songwriting, mixing, mastering, composing original music for commercial, video games, and film, and performing most instruments thanks to my degree in music education. I have toured with numerous bands, signed with many labels and have produced high caliber artists such as Cindi Lauper.

Jovanie Vital, who goes by his first name only, is a R&B singer and occasional rapper reminiscent of a young Chris Brown. The Brooklyn native built a fan base through uploads of cover versions and made his debut at the age of 12 with the single "Heartbreaker." Industry elites quickly took notice, and at the tender young age of 14, he signed to major-label Atlantic in 2015, a year in which he released three singles and his debut album “What’s the Move PT.2”. Catching the attention and respect of his artistic peers, Jovanie earned the honor of sharing the stage on a handful of tour dates with Jeremih, PARTYNEXTDOOR, & Ne-Yo.
