Julian André Thomas is a film composer and arranger, based in the Greater Philadelphia area. Julian specializes in film music, orchestral arrangements, electronic sound, and music for media. Over the past decade Julian has written the music for several award-winning feature films, documentaries, international bands, and music artists - including work for Casanovas, Walter Aziz, and Andrew Farstar. He has also been commissioned to write orchestral arrangements for several theater performances, and radio broadcasts. Julian's music is characterized as imaginative, diverse, and moving. Combining the elements of grandeur and subtly, acoustic and electronic, in order to produce the distinctive and immersive musical compositions he is known for. Julian's filmography includes original scores for Hope Lives, nominated the Best Overall Feature Film award at the Content Media Film Festival 2022, Love Different, awarded the Best Feature Film award at the Charlotte Black Film Festival 2016, and The Wait of a Feather, official selection of the Pan African Film Festival 2016.
