Recently finished writing a ballet for BAD, as well as launching my own artist's career, and notching up over 150K plus streams in my 1st year. I have a particular interest in synth pop, synthwave and retro pop myself and am regularly working with other artists in this genre. However I have also produced a lot of work in the rock/pop field, working with and for some big named artists over the years and getting to work in some amazing studios. Hey there! I'm an LA-based producer, musician, and mastering engineer. I've mastered thousands of tracks for Disney and Warner artists, in addition to film/tv properties like Star Wars, Marvel, John Wick, Fast and the Furious, and This Is Us. I've recorded and mixed hundreds of tracks and even produced the music for an Oscar-winning Pixar film. In addition, I've toured the world a number of times and helped build some of the awesome software we all use, and am a voting member of the Recording Academy. Maybe most importantly, I've taught thousands of people remotely over the past 15 years about studio production and software (Ableton, Pro Tools, etc), including at some of the biggest music colleges in the US.

I am excited to introduce myself as an experienced music professional and creative entrepreneur, specializing in music/video production, artist management and development. My name is Jason Alan, and I currently reside in Nashville, TN. My passion for music started at a young age, and I began playing the guitar, bass, piano, and synth when I was only seven years old. I continued my musical journey through high school, where I was part of the band and choir and formed my first band when I was only twelve. After completing a bachelor's degree in Music Business and Recording Arts from Full Sail University in Florida, I moved back to my hometown of Detroit and formed the band, "The Howling Loud” who gained regional success and opened for Misfits on a number of occasions. After experiencing success with my band and the unfortunate end of the project, I moved to Nashville, TN, where I helped build and now manage Sundog Recording Studio owned by grammy nominated producer and engineer, Michael Esser. During my time there, I have established myself as a successful producer and recording engineer, working with a variety of artists to develop their sound and improve their craft. Driven by my passion for music and my desire to help artists reach their full potential, I founded Beefy's All Originals, a company offering music production, management, artist development, booking, and other multimedia services, including design, video and photography, branding, web design and booking. During this time I also was retained as head of A&R and consulted for a growing EDM label out of Amsterdam called Epsilon Records. Howard Lakins-Graves, also known as “Maestro,” is a self-taught producer originally from Pittsburgh, PA, now based in Tennessee. Best known for his contemporary R&B productions, Howard blends melodic storytelling with modern grooves—drawing from a wide spectrum of musical influences beyond just one genre. Starting on keys at age five, his passion for music evolved into full-scale composing, arranging, and producing. As a composer and producer in Japan, Metano Katayama is creative trackmaker, songwriter focusing on Hiphop, Reggaeton, R&B, Pop and all Dance music. Especially recently, he has specialized as a beatmaker of completely and unique reggaeton and trap music, collaborating with a wide variety of artists. His Latin, Afrobeats will make you completely forget that he is Japanese. He has produced various songs for Japanese girl group, boy group and the video game industry.He is now creating music at an incredible rate with up-and-coming overseas rappers and singers. Also, as an artist " Tokyo Metano," he has officially released a collaboration album with the highly acclaimed American rapper iRoc Omega, in July 2023.

I am a producer, songwriter, engineer, arranger and sound designer with going on 20 years professional experience in my field. I'm also an experienced DJ and remixer. I've written in so many genres and fusions of genres I lose track but in essence pop, trap, EDM plus various forms of indietronica are my core competencies. I love producing and songwriting and I want you to love it, too, without reservation. I mean, I don't want you to hassle with your DAW, struggle to understand mixing concepts like frequency separation or not have instincts to help you quickly and efficiently create impactful arrangements for your songs. I want you to be able to savor sound design, drum programming and sample manipulation, not procrastinate it because of technical hurdles. And I want you to know what plug-ins are best going to help you with your composition and mixing goals *before* you part with your hard earned money and precious time... among other things. If you are looking for additional production like a bunch of drum stems that are absolute fire in about any genre you can think of or some synths that almost leap out of the speakers at you, I've got you on that. Maybe you want to learn how to flip a sample six ways to Sunday and then some, well, I've got the knowhow. Maybe you need just someone to Melodyne those vox without watery artifacts or wrong notes and you guessed it... plus I'll probably give you some sick harmony ideas or a vocoder part to boot because vocal production is very much another one of my things. Perhaps you are more DIY but you really need a set of ears you can trust and some solid production or mixing notes, well, yeah, I'm that girl. I know what's up. And maybe, just maybe, you want someone to sit around with you for an hour and listen to a bunch of your favorite music and just free-associate about what's rad about it and talk about this crazy industry we're in and what makes it tick. Well, I'd really love that, too, and even though it's not straight up worky worky like heavy AT, I can almost guarantee you would come out of a discussion like that with an absolute ton of ideas and a spring in your step, primed to create. Because you know and I know that music is a fundamentally good thing and sometimes it's just invigorating to talk with someone who's going to help you peel back the layers of a compelling song and lead you to unexpected insights about it whether it's the production, the engineering, the songwriting, the arrangement, the performance or well... you get the idea. So, you know, I've got a lot to offer, skills that are both concrete and some that are more philosophical and esoteric. And probably some I'm just not thinking of at the moment. But mostly what I *want* to offer the kind of inspiration that comes from realizing the sandbox you are in is a lot larger than you thought originally. There's just so much out there and that's what keep me going day after day, an unending fascination with our invisible friend, sound. So, if you made it this far... maybe you want to reach out?
