War on Culture
About War on Culture
Sound of Anger (Side B) is a cross-disciplinary work merging performance art and sonic experimentation. Rooted in the intentional limitations of the artist’s own identity, it pushes the boundaries of artistic exploration by breaking into unfamiliar territory to confront fundamental questions about the essence of art itself. As a creator untrained in traditional music, I deliberately employed artificial intelligence to collide the realms of “art criticism” and “pop culture,” crafting a series of compositions that are both absurd and profound. At the core of this project lies the "Art Diagnosis Mechanism", a system that analyzes submitted works of art, generates critiques, and translates these critiques into pop song lyrics. The resulting soundscapes are chillingly detached, stripped of warmth or humanity, standing in stark contrast to the searing anger and raw emotion that underpin the project.
