"LIFE GUIDED THROUGH RHYTHM" Being born into a family of Jazz musicians and educators has paved my path in music. Having a pull towards drums since inception, my parents gifted me my first drum kit at 3 years old. My father David Proznick, before retiring, built one of the most successful highschool jazz programs in North America, which led to me being recognized,& award winning regionally, Nationally by Zildjian, then internationally at the biggest jazz fest in N America by the likes of the late great Elvin Jones, Christian Mcbride and others. This is by the age of 16 yrs old. Since then Ive carved out a career touring/recording for many local to A List artists as diverse as Carly Rae Jepsen, Pomo, Shad, Washboard Union, Free Nationals, Hey Ocean and more. Most recently my focus has been on building my own studio and creative space, and have been producing and writing on my own work and others. The process is everything and I hold value in relationships built on the journey.
