About Stefon Davis
A Young Producer Stefon Davis, aka DJ Toones, was born the third of three in 1991 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The young producer moved to Reidsville, Georgia in 2004, to be with his grandparents and finish school where his grandparents involuntarily persuaded the beginning of his musical endeavor by enlisting him in the choir at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Davis relocated to San Antonio, TX with his uncle in 2012 to get a fresh start and a new scenery. Toones completed a year and a half of game design at Full Sail University. However, during this time, he experienced an overwhelming amount of grief, due to losses in the family. Gifted with DJ equipment from his uncle, Toones gravitated even more towards the path of musical entrepreneurship and coped with the hurt and pain like many great composers do, through music. Toones found a part-time career in DJing at local bars and clubs in the local San Antonio area. Davis found a day-job as an H-VAC technician, but at night, his alter ego DJ Toones, reigned supreme in the local area. DJ Toones later attended and changed his major to music production during his tenure at The Los Angeles Film School in California. USA. He is now set to graduate in the early fall of 2020. The goal Toones Records is to provide a space for all artists to marinate in their creativity and amplify their voices. DJ Toones is a long time partner of the black owned radio media corporation 'Ollywop Radio Network LLC' and segues as a host for the 'Toone-UP' mix on "The Moe Betta 99." airing every Wednesday (7:00pm CST) and Sunday (8:00pm CST) on ollywopmusicgroup.com. - LARS Live Unite music producer event hosted by Live Nation’s Ani Shekoian (L.A Film School) - DJ/Radio Host for TMB99 - A&R for OllyWop Radio Network
