About Robert G. Moore Jr.

Bishop Robert G. Moore Jr. & The Voices Shedding light upon the message of God with enriching and inspiring Gospel-woven Jazz, Bishop Robert G. Moore Jr. & The Voices are driven to excel. Ever since beginning their musical foray in 1994, the dynamic collective continues to do justice to the anointing that God has endowed them with, paying testimony to their personal lives through memorable lyricism and vocals. Biography A force in the world of Jazz, talented singer-songwriter Bishop Robert G. Moore Jr. was born to parents Elder Robert G. Moore, Sr., and Evangelist Pearl Lee Moore in 1962 in the city of East Cleveland, Ohio. Robert graduated from Shaw High School and attended Cuyahoga Community College with coursework in music theory and computer technology, finding musical elements to be a compelling elemental reality. As a result of close association with the Lord and support by Christian parents, the artist began to seek salvation, and on January 4, 1982, at Calvary Hill Church of God in Christ, after hearing the preaching of Elder Emmitt Nevels, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Channeling his passion for the Gospel and his spiritual gifts for ministry, Robert G. Moore Jr. expressed his love through the writing and composition of two CD releases titled, “Seek Him” and “Anointed.” He continued to work faithfully in furnishing the Kingdom of God, being ordained to the office of Bishop in the Lord's Church and Bishop of the First Episcopal Diocese in the Pentecostal Churches of Christ Organization. Drawing inspiration from the rich creativity and expression of James Jones 3J`s Music and Robert Crawford Keyed Up Productions’ freshness and mastering, Robert began to try his own hand with original compositions. The eclectic artist reached out to some Anointed singers, and the Lord laid on his heart, Pastor Lillian Hanna, lead vocalist for “Try Christ” & “Bought with a Price” and Psalmist Ashley Michelle Williams, lead vocalist for “Do What It Says”. The artist packaged this project under the title of Bishop Robert G. Moore Jr. & The Voices, showcasing his unique musical brilliance as song writer, producer, and singer. In March of 2020 Bishop Moore’s voice was sampled by Kanye West on his single Entitled “Wash Us in the Blood”, and sampled again in 2021 on an advertisement for Dr. Dre’s latest beats studio buds. A force to be reckoned with in all arenas, be it song writing, production, artistry, lyricism, or composition, Robert G. Moore Jr. has successfully established himself in the Jazz and Gospel realms. Bishop Robert G. Moore Jr. believes that after 37 years in ministry and 20 years of pastoring, he is ready and driven to breathe life into meaningful, guiding, and inspirational musical forms. Complemented by Pastor Lillian Hanna who is a soloist on the singles, “Bought With A Price” and “Try Christ” and Psalmist Ashley Williams who is a soloist on “Do What It Says”, the artist hopes to successfully deliver the will of God, soaring as high as the heavens are from the earth
