Profile WHO IS PULENG MARCH? Puleng March was born and raised in the beautiful city of Kimberley in a loving and warm home headed by Pastor A Tollie. She is the middle child of 4 children who were raised by a single Mother. She moved to Johannesburg in 2001 to pursue her career in music. She started as a backup singer for some of South Africa’s leading gospel stars. In 2006 Puleng recorded an Afro- pop album titled Thabatsoeu. This album did so well in the industry that it lead her to win two well-deserved Metro FM awards, the best female vocalist as well as the best new comer, she also received a nomination at the 11th MTN Africa Music South
