Just a simple producer trying t make my way in this galaxy... My name is Philip and I am a professionally trained audio engineer, producer, and song-writer. I work with artists to help them create professional quality music that stays true to their artistic vision. I specialize in indie rock/pop but especially like music that melds genres and anything vibe-y. I have been writing and producing music with independent artists for over 15 years. Outside of producing, most often I serve as a mastering engineer, providing the final polish and also feedback for artists before sending their tracks to distribution. As the final set of ears on a project, it's important for the mastering engineer to understand the artist's vision to ensure the final song delivers on it. (I interned with legendary mastering engineer Howie Weinberg and also studied under Blake La Grange.) I also work with artists to develop demos, sound design, and explore ideas. Having spent years gigging around LA and being an indie musician myself, I also understand production from the artist's perspective. I know what it's like to have a vision but feel unsure of the path to sharing it with the world. In addition to production work I offer advice and artist development services to new artists. My goal is to collaborate with other creatives, encouraging them to bring their art to life while helping them to develop the concrete skills, philosophical foundation, and business savvy needed to make connections with their audience and succeed as an independent artist. But most importantly I help artists make Grammy-worthy, professional quality music. Let's create!
