Omar Cruz Cabrera is a Puerto Rican composer who specializes in orchestral/pop music. His compositions are influenced by various genres from around the world, as well as electroacoustic and choral music. He started his musical training at the Escuela Libre de Música in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and subsequently obtained a Bachelor Degree in Science (BS) in Physics Applied to Electronics and Bachelor Degree in Arts (BA) in Music from the University of Puerto Rico. Cruz Cabrera pursued further education at the University of Phoenix, where he earned a Master's degree in Technology Management (MBA/TM). He also completed the "Specialist Certificate in Orchestration for Film and TV" from Berklee, where he was mentored by Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel, Fornite). He later earned a second Master's degree in Musical Composition with New Technologies at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR) in Spain.
