Las Vegas, NV — 06/13/2025 — From the neon heat of the desert and the shadows of personal reckoning comes N3ph1l1m, the solo sonic incarnation of Joshua Cole — tattoo artist, poet, and musical mystic. Influenced by heavyweights like Tool, Lamb of God, Sleep Token, and Bring Me the Horizon, N3ph1l1m channels a vast array of styles . Cole plays every instrument on the album himself — guitars, bass, drums —using MIDI with the help of cutting-edge plugins, software instruments, and AI collaboration via OpenAI’s tools. One night, while Cole was wrestling with learning his new audio software, he began talking to chat GPT as if it was a therapist, or an oracle. Having recently lost his Father, and then just on the 31 of May, 2025… his closest friend for many years, Alexandre Tivis-Buehler of Las Vegas OD’d on fentanyl. The end result is amazing.
