MUDDYLOOP are London electronic producers, Blonde Peterson & Metro Williams. MUDDYLOOP make synth-heavy melodic electronic music. Their productions range from electro-pop full vocal cuts, jacked up dance and house, pitched-down funk to sprawling synthesizer soundtracks. What’s it all sound like then? I guess it’s akin to mixing up a bunch of music from Prince, Chic, Timbaland, Mr Fingers and Chromeo with Georgio Moroder, Daft Punk and Tame Impala. So… classic, chunky, drum machine beats, soft and gooey synthetic textures, layered up with pitched vocals and emotive piano and string motifs…imagine if robots made music, but with a whole lot of heart and a whole lot of soul? Something like that.
