Hello Everyone, I am a 70-plus year-old music lover and music creator. I was one of the first female drummers in our public school system. In those days the boys got to drum wearing pants; I had to wear a dress or skirt. My Dad bought a drum set from a pawn shop in Seattle; red sparkle. He got it for my brother. My brother wasn't interested in drumming. I fell in love with the sparkles and with drumming. There was no turning back. I started playing when I was in the third grade and played in several bands in the Seattle area throughout the years. I believe having the opportunity to create and share our art, whether songs, photos, paintings, stories, recipes, knitting, etc. is what helps enrich our personal lives and the lives of the people who resonate with our creations. We all have our own personal tastes and it is a mystery when and why we gravitate toward certain music and art. Vibrations are fascinating. Thanks for checking out my profile!
