I regularly interview musicians for The Creative Independent, and my previous bylines include Pitchfork, Paste, and MTV News (RIP). I also worked at the music promotion company Marauder from August 2015 to August 2018. During this time, FLOOD Magazine hired me to write my first-ever paid music journalism piece. When I left Marauder, I focused on writing about music, but fate led me to a dual copywriting and SEO writing career as well. I use my skills from this career to write hard-hitting, engaging musician promotional materials that tell your story and engage new listeners.
