About Louie Summerfield

What is your stage name? Louie Summerfield How old are you? 30 years young Where were you born? I was born in Loveland, Colorado. Why did you start to do music? When I was eight years old for some reason I decided I wanted to sing. My dad was a music teacher at that time and professional musician (still is, at 71, he’s like Jimi Hendrix) and I tried to sing and realized I couldn’t (at all). So in my 8-year old mind it made sense that since I couldn’t sing I’d have to rap. So I wrote my first rap song there as a little boy. Two years later, my dad had been recording an album with some friends of his (RIP Tim Clark Sr.) and I finally talked him into having him and his band help me record my first rap song. So we set up, I played drums on a real drum set, played keys, did my vocals (Took some takes) and his band backed me up. My dad was on lead guitar, Tim Clark Sr. on rhythm guitar, Tim Clark Jr. on Bass and I played drums and keys and rapped my vocals. The song came out tight af I can still loosely remember t
