After Kinder Strings singer/songwriter finished performing as a backup dancer on the national tour of Hamilton, he immediately set to writing The Pact. Though as often happens, distractions intervened to slow the progress of the EP. From traveling the world with famous film stars to training up-and-coming artists how to krump, it seemed there was always something there to force The Pact to the back burner. Endless Hollywood parties and job offers were the demise of his writing. With the only choice being to remove himself from the spotlight, he did what was necessary to get back to the music.
