My name is Gustaf Westin and I am one out of many who wants to create music. When I was eight or nine (odd that I don’t remember this) I got my first acoustic guitar. Ever since then I’ve been eager to create music. Thanks to a music teacher I had, I came in contact with Cubase. I became interested in making music with the computer at home and the rest is history. Some people say that it has never been easier to get your music out there and yes, that’s a statement that is true. Anyone can put their music on Soundcloud or Spotify. But the problem is that (this is not facts I have a source for) some say that 40 000 songs are released every day. If I release a song once per month, how big of a chance is it then that someone will actually listen to it? This is a challenge that I’ve accepted by setting up my own label. I will try to get my music in front of an audience that wants to listen to it. How? I don’t know but I’ve read a tutorial about how you’re supposed to do it (LOL).
