About Engin Canlı
Engin was born on March 23, 1986 in Istanbul. The Neyzen has worked with renowned names in many international projects, TV-Radio programs and countless concerts. Hayat Arkadaşım, Sevgim Sana Miras Kalsın, Naz Makamı, Dilden Kalbe are some of the albums featured in his discography. He graduated from the Anadolu University Department of Philosophy in 2016. The PLENE Ney Oil, developed with Chemical Engineer Dr. Ayşe Akan, has been a great innovation for the otherwise traditional methods of the 1000 year old instrument by introducing a new and unique product to the scene. The first and only Ney Tuning Program in the world was also developed and published by Neyzen Engin Canlı in 2019. In 2021, he released the album "Bostorgay" with the collaboration of Ney Artist Cihan Alptekin, making it the "First Polyphonic Ney Album in the World". Engin is married and has a son named Umut Barış.
