Elizabeth Ekaette

Elizabeth Ekaette – Ekitenam is a Music Minister, Songwriter and Music Instructor. Through music, she is poised to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, deeply connecting people to God. Lizzy (as fondly called by her friends), performs her songs in a cocktail of genres of Christian music which include inspirational, contemporary, praise & worship, classical, Christian jazz, Christian country, hymns, etc. She is known for her vocal emotional expression and flexibility and her songs are characterised by a series of key modulations and high pitch endings. Her parents, Late Major Mfon Uko Ekaette and Late Major Affiong Uko Ekaette, were both ministers of the gospel at The Salvation Army, Nigeria Territory. They hailed from Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. Lizzy was born in Lagos on 23rd February 1970. She is married to Pastor Asuquo Ekitenam. Her interest in music began in her early elementary school years, when she joined her dad and mum on Saturdays to rehearse congregational hymns for Sunday service
