DABASS is a jazz musician, DJ, and music producer whose sound bridges deep musicality with contemporary electronic energy. After a three-year journey in Africa, primarily in Angola, he immersed himself in Afro-influenced rhythms, which led him to focus on producing Afro House. His music is distinguished by powerful, driving beats and an unmistakable groove shaped by his background as a bassist. A musician since childhood, DABASS combines live-music sensibility with modern production techniques, resulting in a sound that is both organic and club-oriented. Born in Portugal and currently based in Germany, DABASS brings a cross-cultural perspective to his productions, blending jazz roots, African influences, and electronic dance music into a strong and authentic artistic identity.
